Aaron Smith says: "For me the track is about someone who is trapped in their own addictions and consumed by their thoughts to the point where they can’t live anymore. It is quite a heavy song but I think it has a strong message behind it that is important to address. The track has some personal meaning to me but as I say about all my songs, if someone can take away their own meaning of the song and find comfort when listening to it then that’s amazing!" Smith wrote the song together with BDI Music Limited author Ed Tullett and Olli Green at the Spotify Studios in London. Listen to "Brother" here.
