Chesney Hawkes - New single "Live Forever"
"The One And Only" singer returns with his most recent single.
December 04, 2024
Chesney Hawkes, renowned for his 1991 hit “The One and Only,” has released a new single titled “Live Forever.” The track serves as the lead single from his forthcoming album, Living Arrows, scheduled for release in 2025.
“Live Forever” reunites Hawkes with songwriter Nik Kershaw, who penned his earlier hit, and features production by Jake Gosling, known for his work with Ed Sheeran and One Direction.
The song is inspired by a close friend of Hawkes, who was diagnosed with stage four lung cancer. Hawkes explains that the track is about “living life to the full, grabbing every opportunity and enjoying every second of life.”
Hawkes has also announced his “Live In ’25” UK headline tour, set to commence in March 2025, marking his first in over a decade. The tour will feature his brother Jodie on drums and his son Indiana on guitar.
