Life And Death founder DJ Tennis is back on his home ground for the first time in 8 years, bringing Melbourne's finest new genre producer Luke Alessi to the party. For their first studio collaboration, they deliver an ecstatic floor-driven bomb with winks at early 90s house, all within a contemporary sound palette. With its pumping groove, rapturous stabs and hallucinatory acid notes, the record is poignantly tied together via heavy tribal drums and euphoric vocal samples. "Dale Dale" is a late-night to early-morning anthem that should keep the neighbors awake all summer.
Already part of the Life And Death family since his 2023 breakthrough release "Bey Beh", Luke Allessi's music sits in its own lane, refusing to be pigeonholed into any conventional genre.
