With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Tomcraft, a true visionary in the electronic music scene. Thomas Brückner alais Tomcraft was more than just a musician. He was a trailblazer who brought people together through his art.
The Regensburg-born artist was one of the most successful German producers and DJs in the field of electronic music. Thomas Brückner began his DJ career in Munich in 1994, where he was a resident at the club "KW - Das Heizkraftwerk", spinning a combination of techno and progressive trance styles. His debut track, 'This Is No House', was released in 1995. He met his longtime collaborator Eniac in 1996, with whom he'd go on to produce tracks, such as 'Viva', 'Prozac', 'Silence', and, in 2002, 'Loneliness' which reached the top of the charts in the UK. Tomcraft ran his two labels "Great Stuff Recordings" and "Craft Music" from Munich and released four albums, with the most recent being 2007's 'For The Queen'. His most recent single, 'Rude Place', was released in March. Tomcraft's music left an indelible mark on the music industry with tracks which have been loved by many.
Our deepest condolences go out to his family, friends, and all who were touched by his music.
We wish everyone the greatest strength in these difficult times.
