With their 70's inspired rock music the Swiss band Jack Slamer proved with their second album "Jack Slamer" that rock is very much still alive!

Jack Slamer came to life when five friends from Winterthur, Switzerland met to form the group. Soon the band was playing frequent gigs in Winterthur and the surrounding area where the band made a name for themselves as local heroes and built up a core fan-base. The first demo tape was recorded in 2009 and even bigger stages and larger regions could be played. The musical style turned more and more into the rock style of their idols like Led Zeppelin, Deep Purple and Wolfmother but with its own individual character.
"Jack Slamer" was their most mature and uncompromising album yet and, and the band put it, "more precise in style and content".
