Originally intended to accompany the Al Reinert documentary "For All Mankind" from 1983, the album "Apollo: Atmospheres & Soundtracks" was written and produced by Brian Eno together with his Brother Roger and Daniel Lanois.
In celebration of the 50th anniversary of the Apollo 11 moon landing the "Apollo: Soundtracks & Atmospheres Extended Edition" is now released, including the original album - remastered by Miles Showell (Abbey Road Studios) - alongside a new album - "For All Mankind" - with 11 new tracks. The 11 instrumental songs on "For All Mankind" reinterpret the soundtrack for the documentary with the same name.
Check out one of the new tracks - "Like I Was A Spectator". The video was created using rare N.A.S.A. footage.
