Crazy Feeling collects previously uncompiled material taken from rare and in demand 45’s along with unreleased material. Back in the mid-late 1960s, the Jamaican singer fronted a succession of soul and R&B bands in Swinging London, starting with Carl Douglas & The Charmers and culminating with the highly revered Carl Douglas & Big Stampede.
Part of the ongoing Rare Mod series, it includes Carl Douglas Set various never released originals – Going Out of My Mind, Why Hurt and You Are the One I Love, etc.. These gritty, raw recordings comprise the majority of the tracks on this release and offer a rare glimpse of Douglas’ burgeoning talent.
