Canadian melodic death metal band Kataklysm has released a new standalone single titled "The Rabbit Hole," marking their first release since the 2023 album Goliath.
Recorded across multiple studios - including JFD Studios in Dallas, Studio City in California, The Cabin in Orlando, and Silver Black Studio in Laval, Quebec - the single was produced, mixed, and mastered by the band's guitarist Jean-François Dagenais. Accompanying the release is a visualizer video created by Ingo Spörl, which complements the song's intense and introspective theme.
Frontman Maurizio Iacono describes "The Rabbit Hole" as a response to the current state of the world, encouraging listeners to question prevailing narratives and trust their instincts. He refers to the track as a "heavy hitter" meant to provoke thought and resistance.
Kataklysm is set to embark on a European tour this summer, with several dates in Germany, including performances in Nürnberg, Stuttgart, Dortmund, Aschaffenburg, and Munich.
