In 2025, Heinz Rudolf Kunze marks a major milestone in his career: the 40th anniversary of “Dein ist mein ganzes Herz”, one of the most iconic German songs of the 1980s. What began as a personal statement of love became a generational anthem, and now returns to the stage in a powerful open-air tour that underscores Kunze’s unwavering songwriting voice. With a full-band setup and a stage show built for summer nights, this isn’t a nostalgia act – it’s a declaration that great lyrics and melodies don’t age.
The tour will revisit hits like “Lola”, “Finden Sie Mabel”, “Aller Herren Länder”, “Ich glaub es geht los”, “Dies ist Klaus”, and of course “Dein ist mein ganzes Herz”, performed with the same force and edge that has defined Kunze’s music for over four decades. “This song has taken on a life of its own,” says Kunze. “It still touches people today – and that’s exactly what music should do.”
In parallel with the tour, Kunze presents a reimagined version of his career-defining track – now a duet with singer-songwriter Annett Louisan. Produced by Michael Geldreich (Cro, Mark Forster, Grönemeyer), the new recording is stripped back, elegant and heartfelt. Beginning with a near-whisper, Louisan’s intimate voice gives the song a new dimension, one that feels simultaneously familiar and fresh. “This song holds a very special place for me,” says Louisan. “Singing it with Heinz was an immediate yes.” Kunze agrees: “Annett’s clarity and emotional depth shed new light on the song. It’s no replica, it’s a new encounter.”
The duet “Dein ist mein ganzes Herz” will also feature on Kunze’s upcoming album “Angebot und Nachfrage”.
