Veysel - New EP "TESTO"
The rapper and actor releases his new EP with songs from the ARD miniseries.

Veysel's prowess extends beyond the realm of rap, as shown not only by his musical success, but also by his presence on TV. In his latest release, the Essen native seamlessly combines both talents and presents the "TESTO" EP with six tracks from the ARD miniseries of the same name, in which Veysel plays a leading role alongside Kida Khodr Ramadan, Frederick Lau, Stipe Ercegand, Nicolette Krebitz, Katharina Thalbach, Ronald Zehrfeld and Ruby O. Fee.
The TESTO EP includes the track "TESTO" and the previously released collaboration with Haftbefehl, "Glas Voll", the solo track "Bam Bam", as well as Veysel's mega-hit "Habibo", produced by Miksu and Macloud. Since its release in October 2018, the song debuted directly at number 9 in the Official German Charts, stayed in the Top 100 for a remarkable 14 weeks and reached gold status with over 200,000 units sold.
The EP is the perfect introduction to "TESTO", a new seven-part ARD Degeto miniseries in which Veysel can be seen alongside Kida Khodr Ramadan, Frederick Lau, Stipe Erceg and Mortel after his acclaimed role in "4 Blocks". The experimental format, which comprises seven episodes of 15 minutes each, follows a creative and innovative directorial concept. The narrative unfolds in a unique setting: five gangsters, six hostages, one bank – all while the law waits outside. "TESTO" will be available only on demand on the ARD's media library, starting February 2, 2024.
