Painted Vein is the music project of the Seattle-via-Venezia musician, producer, and audio engineer Andrea Volpato who has spent the last 10 years collaborating in writing, recording, and touring the world with different music projects.
From 2017 to 2022 Andrea was the lead guitarist and backing vocalist of the Italian band New Candys with whom he toured Europe, the UK, Australia, the United States, Canada, Mexico, the Balkans and opened tours for bands like the Dandy Warhols, Black Angels, and BJM. Furthermore, he played in notorious festivals like Psycho Vegas, SXSW, Devilstone in Lithuania, and Levitation France.
His debut album “Dripping Only Black” captures the culmination of his experience over the last ten years as a musician and illuminates the skills of his writing and production when he is solely behind the creative wheel.
Every instrument on the record was written, performed, produced, recorded and mixed by himself in his recording studios in Venice, Italy and Seattle.
