The Brazil-born pianist Rossano Snel has returned with It Feels Like An Accident, as well as I Feel Lika An Accident; meticulously crafted EPs that push the boundaries of modern day music under classical influence. Known for his deep, layered approach to production, Snel’s latest work offers a complex blend of ambient textures that reflect his distinct style and blend in music.
Drawing from a kaleidoscope of influences, his melodies are a captivating fusion of South Brazilian sounds, minimalist textures and jazzy-feeling improvisations. Together with the haunting allure of a certain melancholy, this apparent chaos works like a beautiful symphony of contrasts. His compositions also bear a subtle imprint of classical music.
Rossano's music is very dreamy and filmic. It's not a coincidence that since 2011, he has composed original scores and soundtracks for over 20 productions spanning feature films, documentaries, shorts, TV series, installations, art performances and site-specific art projects, which were shown and performed worldwide, from cinema theaters to productions for HBO, Universal Pictures, Netflix, arte, Canal Brasil, TV Globo and ZDF.
