"Breathing in the city. Country air is good for you is a lie. Freedom." RAUM27 pick up on the mutual love between city and country with their new single "Plattenbaum". As much as they miss the country air, sometimes it just has to be concrete, rubble, stress and 1000 feelings to feel as free and as at home as in the country. Sometimes everything has to be a little broken to be able to see the beautiful things. Sometimes in the countryside you are denied the freedom to express yourself, and while diversity in the city is what connects you to everyone else, it is also what defines you.
RAUM27's new single posits that both exist: The escape to the country as well as the escape to the city and that both extremes can be connected with freedom. "Sometimes healing togetherness on a gray balcony made of chalk is enough" says vocalist Tristan in the song.
The single "Plattenbaum" is another foretaste of the long-awaited debut album "Anfangen Anzufangen" of the Bremen duo, which will be released on 26.05.2023 on recycled vinyl, CD and of course digitally via the label Träumer & Helden (Edel / Kontor New Media).
