The metal queen comes out with a new soulful adaptation of the well known classic metal anthem for ZDF show "Music Impossible - Mein Song. Dein Sound"

This was made possible by the new ZDF music show "Music Impossible - Mein Song. Dein Sound", in which DORO competed against pop singer Mike Singer. Both artists had the difficult task of arranging and performing their own song in the genre of their opponent! This meant: DORO had to transfer one of her hard hits into the poppy garb of her opponent. Impossible? Yes, almost. But DORO mastered the challenge with flying colours and won the competition. Together with her producer Andreas Bruhn (ex-Sisters Of Mercy), the metal queen dared a unique excursion into the pop genre, and created a very sexy-souly new version of 'Raise Your Fist In The Air', which completely thrilled the audience in the TV studio - and brought DORO the clear victory in the duel with Mike Singer.

The song will be available on all streaming platforms. The idea of the TV show was to perform one of my songs in the style of another artist. And that was the amazing German pop star Mike Singer. So I re-imagined 'Raise Your Fist In The Air' in a soulful pop arrangement. Mike did a nice metal version of one of his songs. Then the audience decided the winner, and I won 😊
