German/British musician and actress Christin Nichols publishes powerful debut album

No front, but Christin Nichols always looks like she has just overthrew the government - or at least knocked over a Mercedes star on a car. Somehow she has a punk aura about her. And the songs on her first solo album go far beyond that genre.
Electronic and post-wave songs intertwine with gloomy pop and intimate, almost chanson-like moments. In addition, her lyrics sound like slogans you want to brush on your imaginary leather jacket with Tipp- Ex. Lyrics that always tell stories, pull you deep into the songs - and above all, entertain you brilliantly.
On Nichols' album solo doesn't mean that she created it all alone. The Berlin-based artist has picked a gang: Simeon Cöster (Isolation Berlin), Anika Henderson, Martin Steer (Frittenbude), Meghan Wright (Shybits) and Stefan Ernst, for example, are part of her small artist collective and can be heard on the recordings.
