Triola is Jörg Burger's outfit for highly aesthetic, lush ambient music.
One could say it replaced his old project, The Bionaut, which was active on vintage labels like Harvest, Eat Raw or Blue. Triola is a steady guest on Pop Ambient comps, matching his timeless full length release "Triola im Fünftonraum".
Buger is one of the central integrative figures of Cologne minimalism and created an absolute classic of the genre with Mike Ink (Wolfgang Voigt / Kompakt) and "Las Vegas" on the then revived cult label Harvest.
His alter ego Triola has so far mainly attracted attention on the Pop Ambient compilations and through the tracks on Scape - clearly structured ambient with a subtle beat signpost.
