Saint Privat is the hit formation ("Tous les jours", "Poisson Rouge", "Superflu"...) consisting of singer Valerie Sajdik and electronic brain Klaus Waldeck. They have returned with a new album in 2023.

Saint Privat have been performing regularly on stage again since 2021, after a break of several years. Almost unplanned appearances have whetted the two musicians' appetite for live and more, for example at the Libelle on the roof of the Leopold Museum, at the hard-rocking Fehring Jazz Festival and at Vienna's Porgy & Bess.

What is new is that Waldeck no longer only performs in the background, but also lives out his Francophile alter ego "Claude Forêt" on stage at the piano and keyboards with appropriate verve. Sajdik sings more attractively and maturely than ever before and has reached new heights as a lyricist. The live program, as we know it from Saint Privat, is embedded in visuals and electronic sounds. Elegant, light-footed, ironic, cinematic, a little melancholic and sometimes frivolous, the jazzy underpinnings are complemented by just the right pinch of rock'n'roll.

The makers of the Netflix series "Emily in Paris" promptly snapped up the advance single from the new album, "Boom Boom Click", for their soundtrack.
The resulting exponentially growing audience is a further incentive for Klaus and Valerie to really step on the gas.
