She's also supported iconic artists such as Pete Tong, Fatboy Slim, Diplo, Mochakk, DJ Tennis, Dead & Co, John Summit, and Sofi Tukker, performing at renowned venues like Fabric in London, Red Rocks Amphitheatre in Colorado, The Warehouse Project in Manchester, and Amnesia and Ushuaïa in Ibiza. She was also nominated for Breakthrough Producer in DJ Mag’s Best of North America Awards and featured on the cover of Spotify's Best of Electronic Music 2022. Incorporating her jazz-trained skills as an improviser, she adds live piano and modular electronics to her DJ sets, striving to be a “one-woman jam band.” Her production style merges melody and arrangements from her classical and jazz background with her road-learned instincts on what moves a crowd.

LP Giobbi’s love for music began in early childhood with piano lessons from her longtime teacher and mentor Carolyn Horn, who provided a classical education while nurturing Giobbi’s creativity. She earned a degree in jazz piano performance from UC Berkeley and was playing a solo jazz gig when she was invited to join an all-girl electronic band, which propelled her into the world of dance music.

In 2018, LP Giobbi stepped into the dance scene as a producer with singles that combined classic house music with sonic exploration, earning mentorship and a record deal from SOFI TUKKER. She has since carved out a unique identity, blending classical and jazz piano performance with piano-centric electronic productions that fill arenas while retaining a human touch. Alongside her musical career, she uses her growing stardom to power FEMME HOUSE, a nonprofit dedicated to building community and inclusion in dance music. FEMME HOUSE offers production workshops, online courses, and scholarships for LGBTQIA+ and BIPOC creators, and hosts bootcamps, livestreams, a radio show on SiriusXM, and stage takeovers at festivals like EDC and Hulaween.

LP Giobbi’s debut album, "Light Places," released on May 12, 2023, on Ninja Tune’s Counter Records, encapsulates her artistic identity. It blends the freedom of improvised music with the intricate structures of dance music, creating tracks that feel both complex and enjoyable. The album features dynamic elements like tom fills and distorted bass, and explores themes of love and connection.

In addition to her performances, LP Giobbi has provided remixes for artists such as Portugal. The Man, Diplo & TSHA, Kx5, MK, Dom Dolla, Tycho, and Carlita. She also holds titles such as Spotify EQUAL Ambassador and North American Music Director for W Hotels and hosts FEMME HOUSE Radio. Behind the scenes, she co-founded the label/publishing house/collective Animal Talk with SOFI TUKKER and launched FEMME HOUSE, which has reached thousands of female and gender-expansive individuals with its educational initiatives.

LP Giobbi is dedicated to highlighting diverse voices in dance music and creating safe, inclusive spaces. She aims to inspire others by showcasing representation and fostering a community where everyone can see themselves and believe in their potential. As she continues to rise, she remains committed to collaboration and innovation, constantly seeking to make her music engaging and timeless.
