DJ T.

DJ T, aka Thomas Koch, has been on the techno and house scene for many yeaars. Among his various roles, such as disc jockey, journalist, publisher, label manager and producer, his passion for electronic music is in the foreground.

Born at its prime, Koch has found himself immersed in all things disco very early on. Impressed by the likes of Dona Summer, he collected records of all kinds; disco, hip-hop, funk etc.

He started DJ-ing in 1987 and began playing at various discos in Frankfurt. His music was strongly influenced by the sounds of black music and acid house. Koch still remains loyal to the Frankfurt scene as a DJ, yet in 1999 he finally opened his own club, the Monza. Koch played there regularly and gave the club its special flair with selected bookings.

In 2004, he ended his work at Monza to concentrate fully on his jobs as label manager of Get Physical Music, DJ and producer. Founded in 2002 by Koch, Booka Shade and M.A.N.D.Y., Get Physical quickly became a pioneer in electro house.

His releases are always danceable and regularly includes sounds of the late 70s/early 80s.
