Schattenmann

Schattenmann are a very special phenomenon in the German music scene.

Over the course of four albums (‘Licht an’, ‘Epidemie’, ‘Chaos’, ‘Día de Muertos’) and regular high chart positions, the four-piece band has continuously developed and honed their sound into cutting-edge metal with contemporary industrial influences.

The key features of the Schattenmann 2023 style: powerful, dynamic guitars that prove to be true riff monsters and are effectively showcased by a merciless groove machine of drums and bass as well as subtly interwoven synth sounds.

At the epicentre of this heavy sound conglomerate, alongside guitarist Jan Shook, bassist Luke Shook and drummer Nils Kinzig, is Schattenmann singer Frank Herzig, who is also a charismatic and omnipresent frontman on stage.
