The PathHeights are the singer-songwriters Akosua Aset and Aumuna. The name of the duo is derived from the word Ptahites, which means spiritual, creative beings that convey a collective message.
The PathHeights started in 2012 in Jamaica, now they are based in Germany. Their sound is a gentle blend of folk, modern roots and poetry.
Harmonic vocals, african percussion and the folky charm of the guitar electrify the listener. The lyrics of their songs are inspiring and spiritual at the same time.
In the light of the new generation of musicians, positioned to carry the musical art to a next level, The PathHeights are an assured bridge that will enable a continuous movement with their minimal, organic sound.
The band states: "'BIG WOMAN' is the first song and video released of The PathHeights' new EP titled "TWIN FLAMEZZ". Song and Video represent and firmly stand for the divine Mother of creation."
